Following ongoing conflict between Google and Amazon, Google has pulled YouTube from the Fire Stick.
Prior to January 1st, 2018, Fire Tv Stick users received a notification stating that the YouTube app would no longer be available on their device. On January 1st, users would find the YouTube app disabled, but web browsers Firefox and Silk added.
Simply download and open the browser of your choice and navigate to the YouTube website. Conveniently, both browsers have YouTube bookmarked upon install. Firefox and Silk both have full support for YouTube. Many users are reporting an identical feel between the YouTube app and viewing via the browser. This is largely due to the fact the the old YouTube app was just a web browser coded to navigate directly to YouTube.
